Providence Art Club

Providence has a chummy community of artists and collectors who created this club to create, collect and display art. Providence Art Club is second oldest club of the United States after Salmagundi Club. It is a good place for the art patrons and artists. It’s a great place for art patrons and artists. It has studios, food, galleries. Art Club Road continues the tradition of supporting and patronizing the visual arts on the island.

 Oldest Baptist Church in America

The oldest Baptist church in the United States was founded by Roger William in 1638, the church was erected in 1774 and its first meeting was held in May 1775. It is also known as the First Baptist Meeting House. It located at the 75 North main street in the City of Providence.  It was designed in the 1960s as a national historical landmark and is now known for weekly worship services, gatherings and lectures by actors and artists and elected officials.

Rhode Island State House 

The Rode Island State House was built 1895 to 1904 by McKim, Mead & White that was constructed of Georgian marble and has one of the largest marble domes in the world that is located on the border of the downtown. It is a neoclassical building which is a house of the Rhode Island of General Assembly and office of the Governor, lieutenant Governor and secretary of the state and general treasurer of Rhode Island.

Marble House

Marble Island Road is a Gilded Age mansion designed by Richard Morris for Alva and William Cosm Vanderbilt. It is a U-shaped building that looks like a two-story structure that is spread over four levels, reception rooms are on the ground floor, kitchens and service area are located in the basement, bedroom are on the second floor and third floor is for servants.
